As parents and ordinary citizens, we must ask: Are we truly prepared for credible elections, or merely celebrating political ambitions while ignoring our nation’s suffering?
I respect every aspiring candidate’s constitutional rights. However, insecurity, economic hardship, political restrictions, and deteriorating public services demand urgent attention.
How can elections be credible when concerns remain about political freedoms, opposition safety, and electoral preparedness?
Our priority should be creating conditions for free, fair, peaceful, and legitimate elections—not promoting ruling-party agendas or individual ambitions.
South Sudan needs genuine reforms, accountability, and national unity, not political celebrations disconnected from citizens’ realities.
National interests must always come before individual political ambitions.
