I respect the SPLM’s internal electoral preparations. However, preparing candidates is not the same as preparing the nation for credible elections.
If roads are impassable and citizens cannot afford flights, how will voters and ballot boxes reach remote constituencies?
With inadequate healthcare, limited ambulances, and continuing insecurity, how will voters’ safety and basic needs be protected?
These are fundamental questions of democratic rights, accessibility, and national preparedness.
As the ruling party, the SPLM must also address its responsibilities in government.
Elections must be about more than meeting political deadlines. They must guarantee meaningful participation, public safety, and electoral credibility.
